Bosnia and Herzegovina has a lot of International Agreements, which directly impact trading and investing.

These Agreements are important for doing business successfully and help Bosnia and Herzegovina prosper as a growing country.

INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS ON AVOIDANCE OF DOUBLE TAXATION

Bosnia & Herzegovina has Agreements on Avoidance of Double Taxation with the following countries:

 

Albania, Algeria, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France,  Germany,  Greece, Iran, Ireland, Italy,  Jordan, Kuwait, Hungary, Malaysia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Moldova, Netherlands,  Norway, Pakistan,  Poland, Qatar, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia,  Spain, Sweden, Sri Lanka, Turkey, United Arab Emirates,  United Kingdom and  Northern Ireland.

 

 

 FREE TRADE INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS

Bosnia & Herzegovina signed the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA), with the following  countries:

 

Albania

Serbia

Moldova

Montenegro

Macedonia

UNMIK/Kosovo

 

 BiH has also signed a Free Trade Agreement with Turkey, and provides additional free access to their consumer market of 70.  million  people.

 A Free Trade Agreement between BiH and EFTA (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) was signed on  June 24, 2013 in    Norway, and entered into  force in January 2015.

 

 AGREEMENTS ON THE PROMOTION

 AND PROTECTION OF INVESTMENTS

 

 Bosnia & Herzegovina has Agreements on Promotion and Protection of Investments with the following  countries:

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,  Hungary, India, Iran, Italy,  Jordan, Kuwait, Lithuania, Luxemburg,Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Netherlands, OPEC Fund,  Pakistan,  Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United  Kingdom and  USA – OPIC.

 

 PREFERENTIAL EXPORT REGIMES

 Bosnia & Herzeogovina has a generalized system of preferences with:

 

Australia, Belarus, Canada, Japan, Kazahstan, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, USA

Furthermore, BiH has a  preferential export regime with Iran.
